OAE-162: All Nude Anan
Actress: ANAN (Unknown)
Studio: Aircontrol
Release Date: 2018-10-25
Runtime: 120 Minutes
Introduction
We are back with another Aircontrol review, this time featuring ANAN, who based on my research hails from China? Well even if that’s just misinformation on the internet’s part (wouldn’t be the first time), ANAN has done gravure for a few years now, debuting back in July of 2018 with Spice Visual before becoming a regular for Kingdom in 2019. This is another release under Aircontrol’s Antenna label, basically meaning nudity is front and center. This film takes a more traditional approach with gravure in contrast to the semi-girlfriend experience type film in Moe’s OAE-092 reviewed previously. Let’s see how it does.
Production & Setting
The first shoot takes place with ANAN overlooking a bay in a colorful spring dress and actual music is present to aid in presenting the scene. However, the light upbeat music and nature shots are just a farce as the first real shoot occurs with a closeup of ANAN sitting on the floor of a nondescript room with music that sounds like it belongs on a 2000s sci-fi action movie credits scene. ANAN is working to slowly undress in different positions as the scene progresses, but the pace is at odds with the music, not to mention the intermittent beeping is irritating at the start. Visually the scene is fine, its basically a barren room with some white curtains for added lighting, ANAN is fine in the scene but it’s pretty boring, which is a shame given the outfit choice. Her undressing outside overlooking the bay would have been 100% better.
The second scene is much much better, ANAN is in a bright blue outfit which works well with her hair color, the music is upbeat, like the menu music on some Nintendo game. This is the beginning of the questionnaire part, as ANAN answers questions and progressively undresses. I disliked these parts in the last film with Moe, however, this one i’m ok with and that’s largely because of the music helping move the scene along and create some atmosphere so the questions don’t appear to just be some one-way presentation. Eventually the music shifts gears as the questions end and we get a nice smooth piano solo to supplement ANAN’s full undressing and body play portions. This scene has gone from playful and energetic to calm and soothing, allowing viewers to enjoy the interaction side and the aesthetic side. Of course there is the signature “erase any potential sighting of butthole or vag to the point that most of the hair isn’t visible either.
From this point, the scenes continue to be short but the producers continue to produce solid set pieces. ANAN answers questions on the beach in a partial school outfit and explores the area to the sound of a nice bass line. She then moves indoors to fully undress to once again a soothing and slow piano piece. Rinse and repeat between outdoor beach and bedroom settings. They play out well enough, with good outfits and music choice, and pacing that isn’t out of step with the music, with the exception of certain music tracks here and there. Ending the film is a monologue/questionnaire portion by ANAN and the camera man, briefly interrupted by one last lingerie scene to provide a little more content before the final sendoff. My main issue is that the scenes were too short, likely in an attempt to get more content in the 2hr window, but overall, quality production and set design.
Score: 7/10 (Production), 7.5/10 (Setting)
Music
It’s here and that’s what matters. But more importantly, it’s actually fairly decent. The only major issues I have are that the music shifts from one style to the next too quickly, and this is due to the scenes themselves changing too often, and the second is that the vocal tracks aren’t really good and it would have been better to cut those and replace them.
The music in the first scene is irritating. I think it was meant to simulate some form of curiosity track that you may hear in a promotional trailer for a sci-fi exploration game, but it’s just not good. ANAN works her scenes slowly as per the musical theme, but the track is just bad and the scene fails for me despite how visually appealing ANAN is. The second scene however is solid, playful energetic cute music during the opening question portion and then slow and soft piano notes as the undressing and body play continues. An excellent use of music to create and supplement the atmosphere projected by the actress. Same goes for the following beach scene. ANAN undressing to some jazzy bass next to a green cliffside and ocean, really well done combination, however, too short, and it’s back into a room with some slow music. This music is still solid, the slowed tempo in the background and the high note piano streaks add a sense of discovery and curiosity to the scene as ANAN plays with herself. It works well.
Then it’s time to go back to the 90s with some pop R&B in English no less for a romantic type scene. It’s ok but not great. The second part has a pretty in your face guitar solo but the bedroom isn’t the best backdrop for this style of music. The next few scenes have music that matches the setting well, except for again some English vocal track getting in the way of an otherwise good beach scene, and the slow guitar and percussion track while ANAN is playing with lube in the shower, not a great fit in my opinion. That said, it’s better than the slow majestic piano solo we get next to ANAN wearing a corset and face sitting on the camera, which is again ruined with some vocal track.
Overall the music was well done save for a few examples, but the largest issue is that the tracks are too short, even switching in the middle of a scene that already only lasts around 10 minutes before it’s on to the next one. Get rid of the vocal tracks.
Score: 7/10
Aesthetic & Performance
Visually the film is good. It has some washed out parts to it but overall the colors worked with the outfits, no scene was horrible in its presentation with the exception of the first but that is mainly due to it being so zoomed in and not providing any sense of scale or cohesion with the surrounding aesthetic elements. The beach outdoor scenes were the best however they were incredibly short, instead favoring incredibly white and bright indoor bedroom settings, which is fine but a little overdone. The outfits were all pretty good, with the third beach outfit, the corset, and the interesting bow like lingerie taking the top prizes. As for ANAN herself, her body is nice, no outstanding features besides perhaps her hair color, but even that isn’t anything super special. She has nice breasts and a nice face, the rest of the focus points on naked women were blurred so I can’t say much about those.
Performance wise ANAN was decent enough. She had an energetic attitude during the question portion and the outdoor beach settings which was nice to see, and she worked well with the slower tempo during the undressing parts. The food play was pretty average, though not much focus is paid to that sort of things from a video standpoint in my experience, unless its sex and food. This was ANAN’s second gravure film and her only Aircontrol release, it would be interesting to see how she has changed in the time since with other labels.
Score: 7.5/10 (Aesthetics), 7.5/10 (Performance)
Summary
This was an improvement over the previous Aircontrol release reviewed, however it has some rough spots, namely some questionable track choices and the scenes being far too short and numerous, but beyond that it looked visually well done, the clothing, most music choices, and ANAN’s performance in most of the scenes were good and meshed well. ANAN has moved to Kingdom for future gravure productions at least for the last couple years so it’s possible that’s here main producer for the time being and it will be interesting to see how she does in those videos. Overall, I think this is a better entry into Aircontrol content and would look forward to a new release involving ANAN (so long as its not a girlfriend experience film).
Final Score: 7.3/10
